Saria is a prominent character in Ocarina of Time. She's a nice little girl, being friendly to Link and all. She also give you the Fairy Ocarina and stuff but that's not important. Except I don't think Link likes her very much.

At the scene where Saria gives you the Fairy Ocarina, Link just stares at her and runs away, like she just pulled out a glock. Link, that's no way to treat a woman that likes you! I know you also have deal with Princess Ruto's obsessive love, but take a little time and be nice!

How is she comparable to Midna? You'll see...

Also there's this really cool thing where if you you play Saria's Song then you can talk to Saria over the airwaves. I don't know if it works like a phone over radio waves or if it's some magic fuckery, but that's a really cool system they've set up here. I named my Wi-Fi network "Saria's Song" after it. I thought I was Albert Einstein when I came up with that. It's genius.

Really, the only similarity that Saria and Navi have is that they're both female and are in Legend of Zelda games. Which means that Saria is 9,999,999x better then Midna.
